Most sites offer all kinds of complicated, in depth theory that would probably take months or even years to learn and understand .
With 100s of guitar courses out there how do you choose?
I'm guessing that like most people you have surfed the WWW looking for a guitar lesson or course, only to come away overwhelmed by the sheer volume of offerings and a little suspicious and weary of all of the superlatives used. After all how many courses can be, The Best, Great, Stupendous, Amazing, etc. Quite frankly if they sound too good to be true the probably are.
With hundreds if not thousands of course available how DO you decide what to buy?
Its a legitimate question isn't it?
I am writing to tell you about a good course that you SHOULD buy. Quite frankly, I am a little embarrassed to tell you that I have known about the site (guitar leads.com) and the course Guitar Leads, Solos and Riffs for more than a year, but never really looked at it that closely.
I am doubly embarrassed because I know the guy that assembled the course, Tony Alfano, is a full time, professional musician that has been on stage with some of the biggest names in the business. He has personally played with The Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, Billy Swan, JJ Jackson, The Temptations, Danny and The Juniors, and Chuck Berry”-and opened for many more like Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, The Pointer Sisters, Grand Funk, The Dooby brothers and many, many more. --- I should have been suspicious that he KNEW what he was doing when he put his course together!
So here is my no B.S., straightforward, assessment of his course.
It uses real guitar audio, not the tinny sounding keyboard midi files. Its much harder, perhaps impossible to play something correctly, if you cant hear it being played correctly. Midi files cant give you that. Tony's audio does.
It teaches you to play leads and solos using some of the all time greatest classic rock and roll guitar songs--- this means you actually have fun while learning.
The audio is provided in both full AND half speed. AND, the half speed audio is in the correct key. This is a great added benefit, because you can slow the music down, making it easier for you to follow along until you have learned it and are ready to tackle the real deal.
The audio loops continuously, no need to start and stop. This is not a huge thing, but it sure is a nice convenience.
Correct tablature for each of the licks and solos. This IS a big deal. I spoke to Tony the other day, and he was telling me about his effort to tab the classic song Roundabout. He said it took him hours and hours to get the tabs correct, and he couldn't have done it without both listening to the song over and over AND looking at a video he had of Steve Howe playing. Tabbing can be, and usually is, very laborious and Tony has done all of this work for you.
Oh yes, one last thing .... it comes with a risk free, 100%, LIFETIME, money back guarantee.
In conclusion
>> Tony's course is a course you WILL learn from
>> Its a course that you will enjoy
>> And it will be unlike most of the courses you might already own.
Bottom line.. its a course I highly recommend you buy.
